Looking for a few extra dollhouse magazines or other small paper accessories?
They're here. All you need here is a printer, scissors, and glue.

"The Story of Barbie" Mini Magazine
Scale: 1/6
Materials: color printer & glue

Here's another magazine for you guys, a very abridged version of "The Story of Barbie" magazine that I bought around the time of the Barbie movie release. This printable has 3 loose turnable pages. Some of the pages feature early 90s Barbies, the Mad Men vintage inspired dolls, Ryan Gosling, and a Bratz doll, a 2010s era Millie on the front cover and a glam 2000s era GG on the back.

Custom Magazines
Scale: 1/6
Materials: photo editing app (even MSPaint will do), color printer, & glue

Need some extra doll-sized reading material? Here are a few templates to print some REAL Barbie magazines I've photographed and edited together and a blank template for you to design your own. Just paste your images onto the empty template and print.

Blank Template PNG

Open the PNG file in a photo editing app (MSPaint comes preinstalled on PCs). The images you want for your magazine should have a 3:4 ratio, like a standard size vertical photo. Resize your images first based on the template instructions page OR resize the images directly in your photo editing app. Type a title over your cover page image and print the file in landscape mode. Cut and glue as described on the template instructions page.

If the magazines are printing the wrong size (there is a one inch guide on the page), you may need to print from a different program or save your file to a PDF and print the PDF version.

Sample Magazine PDFs
Don't feel like designing from scratch? Here are a few sample magazines and Barbie catalogs miniaturized for your convenience.

Shoeboxes
Scale: 1/6
Materials: color printer, cardstock to print onto, & glue

Inspired by the Licca Closet series gashapon, here is a printable version of my own custom Licca-chan shoebox, a couple of Barbie boxes, and one for Fashion Royalty. The boxes should be able to hold a pair of high heels or other small shoes but not boots. I decided to use the "adjacent" prints in the DIY video, but I've also included versions with real brand logos on them.

Miniverse Inspired Wallpapers
Scale: 1/24 ...ish
Materials: color printer, foam board, & glue

Just when I considered buying one of these rooms I thought, wait, I can make similar patterns in Photoshop. So here are some 20cm Miniverse Ice Cream Shop inspired printables. There are 3 versions of each wallpaper to choose from: plain, with door frame, and with pink paneling. Does anyone remember when Pop Mart used to make little rooms like these? I have a few of them myself, so it seemed fitting that I include some Pop Mart stuff in the craft photo.
